To wrap up our annual partnership with the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, the Boys & Girls Clubs sent two youths and one staff member to the Badges for Baseball camp program in Aberdeen, MD. The two members, Jackson T. from our Bridesburg Club, and Ariel O. from our Vaird Club drove down to Aberdeen, MD on Sunday, August 14th to start an exciting week. Housed at Northbay Adventure Camp, the children roomed with members from the Boys & Girls Club of North Carolina and enjoyed the hospitality and adventures that camp had to offer (from swimming, hiking, a zip line, to a rock climbing wall). As much fun as they had at Northbay, the highlight was the mornings spent at the Cal Ripken Experience Fields.
