Philadelphia's 2023 Youth of the Year

Selected among seven outstanding youth, Nile was named the 2023 Philadelphia Youth of the Year by Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. The Youth of the Year title is a prestigious honor bestowed upon an exemplary young person in recognition of leadership, service, academic excellence, and dedication to live a healthy lifestyle. 

Nile is a longtime member of the Wissahickon Boys & Girls Club. As Nile shared in his winning speech, “my Club experience has developed my passion to give back and to help others. To be the voice for those who have no voice. Too often the kids at my neighborhood are silenced, however, our Club has provided the right to a life that is safe with a nurturing place to go after school.”
